we have a set of afco's that are the next higher than the manufacturers reccomendations...they want 9350 on LR 9400on the rest we have 9400 for LR and 9450for the rest...would we be closer by lightening the springs or should we call it close enough

choosing a lesser spring rate will not compensate for a shock. They don't interchange like that.

So what you are saying is spend another $300 -400 for the recommended shocks???? GEEZ
