Trying to put a short panhard bar on a 99 Jet Viper 4-link left z-link right, all I have room for is a 9" center to center bar....is this going to be too short?

thats pretty short but should still work just be a little wild probably. Best thing to do is only have 2-3" of rake in a bar that short.

You might try a different frame mount that can be flipped around and let you have another 2" or so of bar length.

The frame mount is a clamp on bracket on a 1 1/2" round tube so there is no way to turn it around.

you can buy a mount that is two sided and it will let you mount it on the outside of the bar and will give you a couple more inches

My frame mount is also round bar so I couldn't flip the mount like you can on the square tubes. So I found me a pinion plate that has a single hole down low in between the leftside and right side holes and was able to use a shorty bar that way. works good too.

here's the link to the type of mount plate I run with my shorty bar. Just hook your shorty bar up right in the middle hole beneath the pinion.
