On a dry slick track and hard G-60's, do you want to increase the weight transfer to the RR at the expense of the LR? What about weight transfer on a tackey track, balance it out? This sure seems like what 3 wheel cars are doing but it is opposite to what I did in other types of racing.

To me on a tacky track the tires will stick on there own and the car will transfer weight. On a dryer/slicker track there is less grip and you have to make the car think that the track is tacky by doing things to increase weight transfer, like lower panhard bar, raise ballast etc. The way i look at it, is that a balanced setup needs a certain amount of weight transferred during a corner. You dont necessarily transfer more but you are adjusting to get the same transfer of weight based on track conditions. The tacky track surface just makes it easier. Maybe i didnt explain that very well but I hope it makes sense.
