Haven't seen a spring loaded j-bar.I dont think that would be advantageous as a spring needs something to dampen it(a shock absorber) or it just keeps bouncing (oscillating)unless the spring is so stiff it doesn't do anything.Biscuits are a better deal in this area of suspension.

camaro-Dude-1991. Do not waste your money or your time, just use the regular j-bar. A buddy of mine that has run late models for years has a spring type & a biscuit type in his junk room.I have tried them & we both agree the regular j-bar is the best. Good luck & good racing . cd2

On a real rough track the spring can make the car feel softer on the driver.

A SOLID J-BAR ON A ROUGH TRACK WILL EVENTUALLY RIP THE FRAME MOUNT OUT OF THE CAR.LATE MODELS ARE LIGHTER AND HAVE A LARGER SOFTER TIRE THAT WILL ABSORB THE ABUSE. THEY CAN GET AWAY WITH IT.A MODIFIED ON AM.RACERS CAN'T FOR LONG.GOOD LUCK?

I've always ran a jbar that had biscuits on it. Never hurts to allow the biscuits to absorb a little impact.
