I have a DW 8 - 3 link on short bars. What would it cost me to switch it over to a
4 bar on both sides.

What would be better a 4 bar on both side or a 4 bar / z-link.
What is everyones opioion on this.
I'm just tried of getting beat by a 4 link when the dry gets real dry slick.

we've been using a 4-z and are likeing it very well.i want to try a 4-link on both sides, but the budget is very tight right now.keeping what little cash we have for some g 60's!bird cages arent too bad and the frame mounts can be had at any race shop for about 30$ a set.

I changed my DW-8 to a option of a 4 bar on either side and z-link on the right side.
The brackets from Dirtworks really don't cost that much maybe 125$ total for both sides. The biggest cost will be the birdcages & plugs if you by them. I made my own. If I was to do it over I would get the Speedway Bolt together type birdcages like Jets birdcages. Nice piece.
The 4 bar brackets are one one piece but require the plug to match up to dirtwork specs. The z-link parts from dirtworks was $20 for all of the tubing cut and notched. Buy the Z-link bracket from Speedway or some other company cheaper.
Hope this help

If you do all the work yourself, probably less than 300 dollars. (tubing, brackets, radius rods, rodends, birdcages)
