Just wondering what is the average regular pay out at most tracks?
Winners pay?
How much to start?

I'd say average winners take is around $500 to $600. Most pay $50 to start A-main.

275 to win, 20 to start. Pathetic! But the track is real close to home.

cozmo, how much do you have to pay to enter every weekend. We have to pay 25, so if something happens and we do not start the race, we still get our pit pass money back.

droper23, At Orange County Fair Speedway you do not pay to enter the car only a pit pass for yourself. Member $25 non member $30. If you do not make the field they will pay you $50.00 tow money on regular shows only. Super Dirt series or special shows they do not pay. They do not offer it though you have to go to pay window and ask for it that same night.

In the Dallas, Tx area its mostly 400-500 to win, and about 50-60 bucks from 10th on back, and the B pays 30. Pit passes are 25.

You guys in the Northeast with the D.I.R.T. sanctioned tracks are going to make everyone cry with your Payouts. NE racing has got to be some of the best paying local races inthe country, with most tracks having three or four "professional" racers.
We raced at OCFS during the 70's... 40 Big blocks 70 small blocks in the pits and at least 4,000 people in the stands...

The reason I was asking is because Brighton Speedway Park in Ontario,Canada is possibly having a race 800 to 1000 to win.(Sept.5)
Our regular is 425 to win 80 to start.
We were wondering if we let IMCA cars run how many out or town cars would be interested in coming up.
We currently run IMCA style cars but we have to weigh 2700lbs, 2BBL holly, cast heads 74cc,but we can run 10" Hossiers(RC3).
We think that you guys with the big motors but small tires and us with the heavy, low hp
motors but with the tires we think you can have a **** of a show.
What do you guys think.Let me know.
