I put a regulator (fuel pressure) & return line on my car, set the pressure @ 5.5 lbs, and reset the carb. I used my vent side of the cell as the return side. I'm worried to death that I won't pull enuff fuel because of lack of a vent and lean my motor out. Tonite, when I pulled the fuel cell cap off to check fuel level, it had one heck of a vacuum, almost as if the cell itself was collapsing. I have'nt ran it this way WOT, yet, so any feedback would be very much appreciated.

I would put a vented cap on the fuel cell.

You have already answered your own question. Run a separate return and vent.

If you are on Alcohol you absolutely must have a seperate return line and vent line. Like it was stated in an above post, you answered your own question! If you are pulling a vacuum on the cell as you said, it will cause major problems. A standard vented cap will probably not move enough air. Also, my cell has a built-in rollover valve in the vent line fitting, which really eliminates it as a return possibility.

here's your answer , run the return line from the fuel log into the supply line just before the filter, use your vent line as the vent for the tank.You have to get a fitting called a run-tee . depending what size the supply line is is the size of the run-tee.

I run race gas, and the cap is vented. I think I'll use Autoshop's advice since I only have 2 fittings in my cell. Thanks guys!
