what type of rear suspensions are legal for imca modifieds

pretty much anything you can come up with as long as its not aluminum. 4-bar, 3-bar(2link), swing arm, leafs any combination of the above. You're only allowed one shock per wheel and one axle damper shock on the housing. One coil spring per wheel (if your using coils) and a coil spring for your pull bar or lift arm if you choose to use it. NO coil over shocks though. Tell us what type your wanting to run and what type of pinion control device (ie. pull bar lift arm etc.) and we'll help you make sure its legal.

Our Skyrocket has a normal pull bar with a spring, but it also has a bar mounted on the right side of the rear end that is hooked up to a chain for braking purposes only. I thought that the braking bar was IMCA illegal, or could only run one or the other?

one pullbar only. springrod cannot accompany 5th link, one of the other.

thanks for the replies , im running a three bar under ump rules and we were talking to a track promoter who runs imca, he just made it sound like 4bars and evryting other than three bars were illegal
