Thinking of trying a 8 inch on lr and 18 inch on rr.Has anyone tryed this and what effect did you get good or bad. Some say it will let 3 link act more like a 4.

Putting the shorty bar on the left rear makes the car bite harder and have more rear steer. the shorter the bar and the more angle the faster everything is going to happen... i am running just about the same on my car, 17 inch right side 9 inch left side.... build your own bracket for the left rear so you can have a lot of adjustment... i have run a lot to a little angle it all depends on the track...

My car is not as radical as that but I have 16 1/2 left and 21 1/2 right and I am getting killer rear stear and lefrt rear gets up on the bar good.....best car I have had yet ......8 inch left rear sounds like it would react realy fast ,let us know how it works out ...good luck.

Thanks for the feedback gonna give it a try; might not go as radical. We're having trouble getting through the corners. So i'm always willing to try new things to see what happens.Might get to do it this week got to redo shock mount and change gear plus redegree cam will let you know what it does .THANKS!!!

I run the same as JT54. The car hikes up fast and gets great foward bite on a dry slick. I run a ton of angle in the left rear though and it makes the car extremely tight. I just stand on the gas and believe it'll turn before that wall gets there and its very fast.

Hey Altell ,what angle have you found to work best on right rear bar....I have mine at 12* and my left at about 18 *...car seeams to work good in all track conditions with them like this except for push on exit on dry.

Ok, I'm new to modifieds and not that smart when it comes to the setup, so sorry if this is too stupid of a question for some, but can you please explain how you run an 8 inch bar on the left and 18 inch on the right? There must be different mounts than what I have on my 3 link, I'm assuming, because that would have my wheel base 10 inches off?? Just trying to learn some new things. Thanks,

you run a plug in the front lower bar mount. this just bolts into your regular mount, and movesthem back whatever distance to get the shorter link to the correct wheelbase.
they are very simple to make, just get some bracketsand something to use inbetween them, i have used tubing or square tube before.

Loenuf there is no such thing as a dumb question when it comes to modifieds. One week your a hero next week your on the back.We decided to wait on the shorty bar on the lr ours has been working great.Already csarring lf 2 foot off ground through the corners and 8 inches down straights having to calm it down in the heats.
