We bent the horns on our car this past weekend. I dont know what the measurements were before the wreck. I left a message at builder, but was wandering if anybody already knew what the measurements were. I know different chassis builders probably cut the horns off at a different location, thus changing the distance between the horns, so I need the measurements between the horns at the idler arm and steering box location.

I dont have the measurments in front of me but I think our Harris measures 29 5/8" between the steering box and idler arm.

In our first year I became a pro at straightening the horns!LOL! The measurement is not the important thing in front of the crossmember, the mounts being parallel is. Straighten your horns while looking at the drag link. It should run parallel to the front of the crossmember (measure from crossmemer to draglink on both sides). then make sure your pitman arm and idler arm are parallel to each other and square to the dragling.Hope that helps.

I double checked my numbers. It is 28 5/8 not 29 5/8 as in my previous post.
