I was reading something the other day that said on a slick track you want more left side wieght on a hooked up track you want like 52 left . that does not sound right can anybody help ?

I always kind of looked at it the other way. More left on a tacky track because the car will stick and transfer more weight to the right. On a dry track you need less left because you need to give the right side tires more static weight for sidebite and the car wont stick as hard and transfer as much.

thats kinda what I thought but his theory was run heavy on the left with low panhard so car rolls alot and transfers weight but does not unload the left rear tire . and of coarse I can't find the artical.

I run 56.5% left on a swing arm car..tacky track on hoosier emods and about 350lbs of lr bite..car turns well when on the go pedal..also pulls the lf of the ground a little.I know it don't make sense, but it works.
