How far is to far out on a falcon? I have the longer yoke with about 1 1/2" out and im stuffing the yoke real bad into the trans? I tried 1" shorter driveline and i think it was pulling to far out? Do i need to get one of the real long yokes like the 8" one?

FALCON told me that the front of the rear tailshaft bearing is 2" from the end of the housing and the yoke must always be in the bearing, in other words, you must always have at least 2" of yoke in the tailshaft.....and there can be alot in the housing, up to a foot(if that was possible).

I had a driveshaft built 1" shorter and it was to short with the yoke i have. After watching the tape again and re checking the rear of the trans it was when ihit a rut real hard on the rr that stuffed it in there. I will be getting the real long one so i dont have this problem again....thanks for the info on the 2"...i will keep the one in there for now...

hey Craig...I've had the tail bearing 'eat' into the surface of the yoke on my Falcon we have ran for 1 whole season now, keep an eye on that. I was told that we need to run forged steel yokes so that won't happen. Brian
