I've been trying to put more bite in my car but am confused about weight. I have 50 pounds I was going to add to the chassis in or to get more roll transfer. I put the weight high on the right side and it seemed to take away crossweight that I had added in. Steve Smiths book says to put the wieght high and towards the right. Does this mean it should on the left side but not all the way over?

If you're adding weight to get more bite, I'd go for rear %. However, you might just try moving up to 75# to 100# split. Adding weight to RR will remove cross, LR adds it.

if you want it high and on the right, just crank more LR in it to get back where you was.

What kind of panhard bar? Are you trying to get more roll?

ive always been told that the more left side weight you can put in the better.especially if you can make it rear at the same time.we scale out at 48-49% cross before the race.then as the race goes on the car will gain cross because tail decreases as the fuel level drops.

I have a swingarm car. The rf spring is 800#, lf 750#, 275# rr the lr I have never seen what it is but the car does really well on 3/8 track this week I am on a 1/4 dry slick (ussualy) My pan hard bar maounts to the chassis on the right and has solid Non adjustable mount on the left of axle. I've lowered it all the way for this track for roll but don't know if I need to raise it to put more angle in. Thanks for all the replies.

Mounted to the chassis on the right? We are talking dirt? Seems to me you need to mount your panhard bar to the chassis on the left, rear on the right. Mounting it to the chassis on the right is more for asphalt cars. Our track gets shiny black slick. Knew a couple guys that played with the asphalt stye setups. Just didn't work well. Think it's a sidebite issue.
