For those who have tried the tile in your fuel cells for baffling. DId you use just the plain black tile or pvc and drill holes in it. Does gas affect either one? trying to decide if i should get foam or try the tile deal.

save yourself the headache and just buy the foam. it's easier to install and is spefically designed for the purpose.
I paid $80 for enough foam to do a 32 gallon cell.
just my .02

thats kind of what i was thinking too.. only problem is i cant get any foam till next week and i was going to try it for this weekend.

Also how full do you fill it with the foam. I was told i would only need 8 sticks for a 32gallon cell but from what i can measure and see i need at least 12 and thats still 4 or 5 inches from the top.

we just used the drain tile that is solid, works fine, it cost around $20 to do a 32 gallon cell.

It does take 12 sticks to fill a 32 gallon cell but most people never put more than 20 gallons in the cell, so they don't need the foam all the way to the top.
I filled mine with 12 sticks because I fill my cell all the way up then don't worry about adding fuel the rest of the night, and it gives me 60% rear weight.
At the end of the night I usally burn about 10 gallons and drop to 59% rear weight. It's easier just not to worry about fuel jugs.
Hope this helps.
If you want to use the foam I suggest not putting anything else in the tank, bcause you will have to get it out later.
I know guys that don't use any kind of baffles in the cell and they never complained about the sloshing. I think it's a driver preference, I have never NOT USED foam so I have no ides what is like without it.
