I have an Ernie Glide transmition and the disks in the clutch are about shot. (couldn't climb a hill getting on the track with a 600 HP mod!) I've tried to look up info on this P.O.S., but not having any luck. I was hoping somebody could tell me where to find parts for it. Can't afford new one, gotta make it last. Thanks.

Wayne Larson racing in Ames, IA sells parts for the Ernie. Go to www.waynelarsonracing.com or call 515-232-3000. I think they are overpriced on their stuff, but it's the only place I know of to get parts. Which number Ernie do you have? We run a Brinn now, but I could look and see what I have. I just may have what you're looking for.

I called the guy that I bought it from, but he didn't know of any number. (I bought it with the car) Is it on the tranny somewhere?

I know of some places that can reline clutches. So if you are having problems getting a clutch for it, have it relined. I am sure if you call around you can find someone that does it locally.

The number is not on the transmission that I know of. By number, I really mean update number. The last update they had was the Ernie 6, I believe. I'm not sure it matters on the clutch anyway. I would call Wayne Larson racing and at least see if they can identify it for you.

go to LouFegersracing.com If they don't have the disks on hand they can put you in touch with the crook that built your tranny
