just wondering if anyone knew or cared to speculate on what some of the moyer's, frank's, bloomer's or wallace's of the world were using for rear suspension at the alltel...

There is a very good picture of the car on the track on who won definately coilovers. Guess that explains why they kept it covered up.

Looks like a Voight slider behind the left rear to me.

Well that is unfortunate as if he did and it was an IMCA tech'd race he should have been DQ'd as The Easy Slide by Voigt Racing, Inc. is not IMCA legal, only because it is a shock body!

But if he did have it and was legal, what a promotion to have none other than Bloomquist run your equipment, and I doubt it was given to him otherwise I would have known, or definitely heard about it before now.

dumby coilovers to make some of you "people" speculate. Jeff Taylor built and set the car up. It had superior driving and maybe a little blubber coming off the corner.

I talked with some guys that were racing there and they were all griping about traction control. Could be sour grapes though, they missed the main. I also heard the an unusual number of big name late model stars started in the front of their heats night after night. Any of you hear similar complaints?

My chassis builder went out there with his cars and did mention that it seemed that the big names were all out front. Said it was kinda hard to race them from the back. Made me wonder how the big guys can just jump into a mod, and beat some of the best mod drivers in the country at their own game.
