was just wondering what length of front lower bars every one runs on either the swing arm or z-link ?
mine are 17 inches center hiem to center hiem , was thinking about running shorter bars , would it be worth the effort ?
Thanks

We run 14 inch bars on both sides it makes the car get up on the bars quicker and a little more aggresive same a running a short bar on the left side with a two link.

we run a jet carand we went to a 12 inch bar so it was 14 inch center to center hiems but we lowered the rear trailing arm on a 20 degree angle and we left the right side long and it works really well expesially on a short tight corneres really well

Thanks for the replys
I know this will also shorten the wheel base , what affect will a shorter wheelbase have on the handling of the car ? I know it would turn easier , Anything else ? Thanks

It will not shorten the wheel base if you put on pocket extensions to reach the shorter bar. But if you go with the shorter wheel base the car will react quicker and if you get loose or sideways it is harder to get control back longer wheel base makes for a more stable car. We run short arms with a 112" wheel base.
