I agree. If you put more LR in the car it will heat up that tire more and take some heat off the RR. How hot was the RR? How much LR bite do you have?

is the tight in middle under throttle? sounds more like a spring change, or geometry change is needed if you already have 180# of bite and it is pushing in the middle on throttle then braking loose.
try less angle in your top link/more angle in your left lower link. more angle in the left lower will give you a little more rear steer to help through the center, and will help to load the lr on exit.
try a lighter rf spring first, then alter the angles in your links.
the push in the middle could also be a camber problem. try a little more camber in the rf. i run quite a bit more in my car than the recomended -3 degrees, like 5-7. and 1.5 degrees gain per inch of bump.
i run dry slick.

How high is the chassis side of your panhardbar? We had a like problem this weekend when the panhard bar chassis mount broke and started climbing up the chassis.

If you're tight in the middle, try and determine if it's tight when you pick up the throttle. If it's throttle tight, you need to decrease your cross-weight. You may need to add some lead on the LR frame rail to compensate, but remember that the car is adding wedge to the LR as the pinion rotates upward. You may also need to raise the roll center by moving the panhard bar up to help it through the middle.

Too much cross/bite. You are only loose off because you are tight in the middle. Get rid of the tight and the loose will go away too. I will bet ya
