4 link birdcage with separate brake floaters I think. Plus a panhard and a pull rod. Some Ellis Asphalt cars are that way.

It has 4 birdcages, brakes welded to the rear. 1 set of birdcages is a z link setup with the other having just a lower bar going foward with the spring mounted on the arm and the shock on the rear of that birdcage.

dirtracer, not sure I am following you, are the springs on the Z-link bars or on the other bar?If they are on the Z-link I don't understand what the second set of birdcage & bar would do,if the springs are on the second set of bars, I would think you would have the same effect on the chassis if you put the springs back on the Z-link bars. are maybe the springs on the Z-link and instead of the second set of birdcages they are clamped with short bars going forward.(OR better yet maybe going back?? )

dirt racer is correct
i have one of them
it is a z link on both sides
then there is a swing arm which hooks to a sepperate bird cage the spring is then mounted on top of that swing arm in front of the axel tube and the shock mounts to the back side of that same bird cage
i have a long pan hard bar mounted on the left side of the frame
with a long spring loaded pull bar

That sounds like the same basic principle as your M & M car, doesn't it 36k?

We won a track Championship with a D&M 6 Link in 2002. The car is actually a 1997 Chassis that sat until 2001 cause I got hurt, so the newer ones probably have updates mine doesn't. Compared to every other Mod I have driven they are extremely "Friendly", the car works very well in every track condition we encountered. When it was soupy the car is equal to anyone, when it's tacky we never had the 'push' that alot of cars got in the center, and when it slicked off it went forward great. They don't mind rough tracks at all, I went places no 4 link dared when the track started coming apart. I did run some unusual set-ups for super dry slick to make me as a driver happy. The workmanship at D&M is top shelf, I don't think you could go wrong with one of their chassis.

Hey 14,what is the rear z-bar angle? It appears to be almost 45 degrees. And am I correct in assuming that is no adjustment on either end of the bars as far as height? ie.only one hole on the frame or birdcage? All chassis adjustment must be done with springs & or shocks?
