If anyone has a free minute to spare go to and check out the site that I'm workin on for my boyfriend. I'd really appreciate any input that ya'll might have! Sign the guestbook while you're there hopefully I'll talk to alot of you soon!!

for rules on Big Block Mods go to and click on track rules. You can see a pdf version of the rule book and the modified rules are on page 6 I believe. Let me know if you can't find em.

I believe the girls are refering to the northeast type modifieds. Sanctioning body is called D.I.R.T. (drivers Independant Race tracks) They are New York based and race in Forida during speedweeks, and just raced at Eldora last weekend.
You may have seen them on satellite a few years ago. You sit in the center of the car and have huge motors. ($30,000+)
They race weekly and on a east coast tour series. They have probably 12 full time professional drivers.
They are the main reason why IMCA mods suffer in the Northeast.

those guys race at Hagerstown Speedway in Maryland... my boyfriend just races at the local dirt track in Delmar Delaware. It's not a huge track or anything... just the local drivers wanting to have some fun. I mean sure you can tell who has expensive parts ($40,000+ engines) but for the most part they just race to have fun. Not even to win. I dont think there's any pro drivers out where he is.
