National, regional I.M.C.A. Modified champions
earn Speedway Engineering contingencies
VINTON, Iowa (Feb. 6) - Speedway Engineering will award more than $3,000 in contingencies again this season to national and regional I.M.C.A. Sunoco Modified champions.
The national champion will earn a rear end housing from Speedway Engineering, while champions in each of the seven regions for Modifieds receive $300 product certificates.
Speedway Engineering is based in Sylmar, Calif., and manufactures rear end assem-bly and drive line components.
"The support Speedway Engineering has shown I.M.C.A. during the course of their sponsorship tenure has been tremendous," said Kevin Yoder, marketing director for the sanctioning body. "They manufacture an excellent rear end for an I.M.C.A. Modified, and our national champion will receive a free one again this year."
