1)COMMITMENT- Eat,sleep,and live Racing
2)Knowledge-Know what you are doing or be smart enough to hire someone that does.
3)Driver Skill-Ability to see what is going on around him and act appropiately.
4)Communication-A great set up for one person is Junk for someone else.
5)$ , It takes money to race, but winning is expensive, speed costs money-how fast can you afford to go?
6) Family support- Single no problem Married (have to consider how what you do will effect others)
7)Confidence-KNOW you can Win!
8)LUCK- The best driver with the best equipment can have a flat or be taken out by a lapped car.
9)Character- You can tell a Winner by How He Loses
10) Good Judgement- Know when to quit, regroup, or go in another direction.

Some of my favorite sayings are incorperated above, but these are pertinent also:

1) If you prefer to be a follower, pick a winner as your leader. Then keep up with him!

2)Watch the man ahead of you and you'll soon learn why he is ahead.

3) You can always tell a man who thinks he is smarter than others, but you can't tell him much!

Good luck! Jammin what are your top 10?

I think the biggest things are:

1: A good driver(who makes you faint when he gets out of the car).lol

2: The fans that cheer for you and stick with you through everything.

3: Sponsors that are there for you.

4: A good pit crew that listens to the driver.

5: A good car.
