I think starting in the back and racing my tail off to get the transfer spot is more fun than starting up front and walking away with it.

I like when you get to the track and nothing else matters but racing .No discussions about work or anything else.

I personally love it when I can stop, take a deep breath and watch all the guys working really hard to get their cars together for a feature, with the darkness falling and everyone doing what they love to do. There aren't many places that you can see that every day. The smell of it all and the cars just booking down the straightaways, side by side. Hear the fans roar at something that happened on the track.....not much you can say...but it is worth it all....

Actually there are a couple different things that I found very enjoyable.
The first is getting to the track early and you know the car is ready to go, just sit back and relax and watch all of the guys that think the track is the place to do all of their work, hustling to get things done.

The 2nd has to be loading the car on the trailer at the end of the night and she's in one piece, you had a good run and you know all you have to do during the week is your weekly maintenance and a few adjustments.

the feeling you get when you pull a slide job in the corner and it finally bites and gives that big jump down the back straight.

i like coming in after a 20 lap feature were there may have only been one breif caution, the track is dry slick. your on your toes the whole time. in a pack of cars. you finish better than you started, and when your done. you get out and your soaking wet. and your face is black, from rubber dust, and you have a full face helmet on... you look the car over cause there may have been some bumpin and grindin on the track...hopefully not with the guy parked next to you.......hehe. but the car is not banged up, and you know you gave it all you had, and you can load it easy. thats fun to me.
also after the races talking to families who come over to look at your car, and signing a young kids checkerd flag, to me that's neat. i dont have any kids yet. so to see the look on there face is neat.
just being at the racetrack is enjoyable. it's like an escape from reality for a night.

I like to see all the guys working their "tales" off to get their cars ready for the next part of the night. To see the excitement in their eyes, especially my husband, he's got a look in his eyes that makes me ****** (excited) It's nice to watch 'the guys' put all of their heart into racing.
