Im curious what the count is on 4 cyl cars at other tracks. We have between 15 and 25 cars running 20 laps a night and class seems to be growing. would like to know how many cars and how many laps other tracks are running.

Thanks

I appreciate the response, the track im racing at has a graduated pay scale based on the car count. If we have over 20 cars in the feature they pay $600 to win. If 11-19 cars in the feature they pay $400 to win. If less than 11 cars in feature $200 to win. Is this in line with most of the tracks in other parts of the USA. Im in NC and just trying to compare to other areas.

Thanks

I wish it was that way here they would have all the old mini's back again back when it was 30-40 strong. Here you are lucky to get 150 and 90 for second they are still paying what they was paying 7-10 years ago and the pit passes and grandstands have went up. Go figure.

I kinda thought we were being paid well but didnt know for sure. If you wanna try this track sometime on your vacation to the east coast drag your car and come racing with us. It is a very country track in the middle of no where but the folks always welcome visiting racers. It is Clarys speedway in brinkleyville NC. I dont know their web addy but they have one a web search could turn up. Thanks again for the response guys.

It was a new class here this year. Not at any surrounding tracks and opening night had 22 last night had 38 or so. they run a pro class which pays 60 to win down by 10 I believe to 20 all the way back.

a novice class which is women or under 16 year olds or men twice. no pay at all or maybe just 20 not sure.

lots of people ran a car in both classes with diff drivers.

they are fwd only 4 cyls, there are some pics on my website.

Eriez Speedway in Erie PA has about 50 cars running. Sometimes they have to run two features or it will turn into an Enduro race. (15 laps)

we have 10 people that show up every friday, same 10 unless someone is out for mechanical diffeculties!

the surrounding area doesnt like to come to our track because we run outlaw ministocks.

basic rules apply such as safety equipment and stock bodies, 9" tire wedth, no adjustable shocks, no wheel spacer,no more then a 1" carb spacer, etc...

engines run anywere from 180 - 250 hp here.

most being pintos and monzas, then we have my 200hp celica!!

usually the chick with the monza wins. she is a **** good driver.

winnings are $150 1st, $100 2nd, $70 3rd, $50 4th, 5-10 is $20. and $25 to take the green flag.

wish there was more celicas!?
