I want to put a fuel cell in my compact car. Fwd, 4 cyl, gut the car and install a four post rollcage. A fuel cell is not required but I'm going to put one in. I've done a search and found out alot, the inline pump is a good idea, but mounting my stock tank mounted pump in the cell is interesting, because it's cheap(already got the pump!)I've read I can put the stock pump under the foam in the right rear corner of the cell. I would like to hear from somebody that has tried this..Any ideas on running the wires from the pump out of the cell..etc..thanks loojack.....

Fuel injection with a cell that it not sumped and foamed and made for injection will not work!!! You will have problems one after another. If your going to run the injection I would keep stock tank or buy a sumped cell with the pickup in the bottom rear of the sump and use foam too.

I have a boat tank in my car and it works great. I ditched the in-tank for an inline pump (off an 83 Renault Fuego!!!...because thats what I had). Just T the gas return line into the feed before the pump.
