By popular demand of racers...the Hornet class claim rule has been suspended thus allowing for the inclusion of Mini-Stocks, Mini-Modifieds and Mini-Trucks. Once the class has established itself in sufficient numbers then the claim rule may be resurrected to protect the interests of entry-level or budget-minded competitors.

Whiskey Lake Raceway recognizes there are rules differences between regional tracks and sanctioning bodies (Thunderhill, Salina, Jayhusker, etc) that race Mini-Stocks, Mini-Modifieds and Mini-Trucks. The track will try to find common ground to allow for equal competition. Your positive input is welcomed!

Hi bigphillb,

Thanks for your interest in Whiskey Lake Raceway! Mike McGinnis brought one of his new Mini-Modifieds to race last night and had a great time! He would have mixed it up some more but hadn't had time to install bumpers.

Send me an email for rules for all classes and track photos, dedonis@kans.com . Also, the track will be open on Sunday May 29th after 2 pm for practice sessions...all classes. There is a $20. dollar per race car track rental fee but no cost for pit passes or general admission.

Thanks and regards,

big, I have been working on rule for the pro4s for a while now. The only thing left is to complete the safety section. Email me for a copy @ mcginnis4@sbcglobal.net
