Would some1 please try to describe the effects of raising or lowering of air pressure in each tire. Such as lowering the left front air pressure loosens the car up on entry. And please explain why. Thanx

Basicly more air in RF or LR will tighten car up, less will loosen. The LF or RR more air will loosen and less air will tighten up the car. There are many more ways pressure changes a cars handling.

In most cases lowering the LF will tighten a car up some or running a smaller tire on that corner.

I help someone who drives a Super Stock 4 cylinder Mustang. We are tight entering the turn and loose coming off the turn. We run 18psi-RF, 16psi-RR, 14psi-LR and 12psi-LF. Our tire on the right rear is 1 inch larger around than the rest. Is there anyone who can advise me on how to adjust air pressure to make the car loose on entry and tight off? Any advise would be appreciated.

what kind of tires are you running? if street dot this is what I used to run for air pressure. lf 14-15 rf 19-22 rr 16-20
lr 15-18.. If you are on racing tires that is a lot of air. the loose off can be controlled with stagger on the rear. If you are wanting to leave the rear pressures alone I would try dropping the rf down a lb or two.

If you are running street tires, you are close. I would suggest adding a rubber in the right front spring to gain wedge or run a 25 to 50lbs heaver right front spring.
