Just wondering what the lap times were for minis in different areas, on 1/4 & 3/8 tracks.

It depends what the track type is and the rules but At west Plains mo we were turning a best of 18 flat at some so called .25 tracks we were turning any where from 15-17 it has a lot to do with the design of the track and the actual size.

At Eastbay Raceway here in Fl we run run about 19.5. Its a 1/3 mile track with what I think I remembver hearing 14* banking in corners.

We turn 22.5 average. Late models turn 18.5 on a 1/2 mile.

Yo dude a modified averages 15 to 17 on a quarter mile track and that is with a strait away speed or 90 or so MPH. Yall are saying that your mini-stocks can run with Modifieds. Sorry but sounds like alot of b__lSH_t to me. I just bought the Track champion car from NORTH TEXAS SPEEDWAY and it might hit a top speed of 75 in the straits 20 to 22 avg.

Modifieds are generally second to second and a half quicker depending on the track. Most 3/8 medium banks the fastest mini's run between 18.80's and 21 or 22's for average mini's. Modifieds will run on emods around 17.5 to 18 or so.

We practiced with all classes on the track and there's isn't much difference. You think the modified would eat a 4 popper up off the corner but that isn't the case. They do their thing from beginning to end of straight. Really eat 4 cylinders up from flagman stand down. Purestocks don't stand a chance........hehe

Shawn...not sure who you're refering to but if that track champion car only turns 20-22 sec. on a quarter mile track you need another car. It don't say much about the competition either. By the way who said in they're post that they can outrun a Modified? I saw nobody claiming that till you came in raising he!!!!
