can you use a v8 module (DUI or any high performance) in a 2.5 chevy distributor or do we need to find a high performance one for a 4 cylinder
thanks

Jammin, I don't know about the V8 module. I do know that MSD makes a distributor specifically for the Chevy 2.5. I upgraded to the MSD distributor, along with the MSD 6a ignition and blaster 2 coil and have no complaints

yea all the parts are the same i made the move from 4cyl ss to v8 ss a few years ago and took all the parts out of my 2.5 dui and put them in my sbc distributor with no problems. the coil, modules, rotor, weights and all that are the same there are just 4 less triggers on the shaft and the whole deal is shorter.any msd stuff should work also.
