They closed down my purestck division...so I am going to build/buy/trade for a 4 cyl...
My question is
Which car is best for over all racing???
I see lots of mustangs,
baically looking for cos/parts ease of repairs etc.
any suge. apprec.

There are many things to concider. Over all the cheapest and easyest to get would be the 79 and up fox body mustang. You will need to support the front frame rails. They are the weak point. Make adjustment in suspention for better handling. Engine depends on your rules.

I perfer the toyota's. You spend a little more and parts are harder to come by, but they are a better chassis. You can get a ton of power out of them too.

Go Mustang. Lots of cheap parts and easy to work on. A lot of help when ya need it.

The garage I race out of has 5 Mustangs in the mini class. Spare parts and cars are cheap and easy to come by. The 2300's are good engines, and easy to tune up.

Thanks! Definately going mustang....
a few cars to look at , is there much dif. from the coupe to the hatch? as far as weight etc.

They are about the same. We cut the hatches on hatchbacks just below the window and make side hinges so it opens like a trunk. Weld the rest of the hatch to the body. That way you dont have to lift the whole hatch to get to your fuel cell.
