find yourself an early model mustang with 2.3 and carb. freshen it up and put'er in.
couldnt be any easier. typically you can buy them for around 100 bucks around here. ac brackets etc should be no problem for you eithor. if you cant figure it out - stop by your local dirt track and talk to some of the ministock drivers. we work with this setup all the time and can offer some valuable advice.also check some of your local engine rebuilders for some cheap long blocks and check you local junk yards for the intake and carb. your exhaust will work fine. on a scale from one to ten i would call it a three. you could utilize the ranger motor but i feel it would be more trouble than it was worth. you could cut out everything you need to swap but for the price of a long block i wouldnt bother.we have emission testing here in GA so a swap like this would be a big no - no. check your local laws if your planning on running on the street.
