Starting new class of pure stock FWD 4cyl cars, max W/B 104". No experience with these type cars. Anyone have any experiece with a 91 Mazda Protege, 1.8 SOHC Engine/w 5 speed. Didn't pick this car,it's a freebie. To run 4/10 & 1/4 mile clay ovals. Any idea's or advice will be appreciated. Rules are limited to facory stock 4 cyl SOHC engines, DOT tires, stock suspension.

Run spring rubbers in your rf if the track is banked at all and you reach decent speeds. Or get a stiffer spring. Not to familiar with that car but if you can bump up your timing. There is probably more but cant think of it right now. If it pushes run like a 1/4" toe out.
