I think i figured out that my block is an early one, (it has domed pistons)anyway, 1. what from a late rotating assembly can be used in the early block? 2. is there better flow with the late flat pistons? 3. and if so do I have to use late rods? 4. does that affect the compression ratio? or, is nothing interchangeable?

The crank and rods will interchange. That is all that change without a lot of machine work.
