I just installed a Rebco switch panel that has a ignition, start, and accessory switch. I installed as per the instructions: green wire to battery or power source (I hooked it to the battery cout off switch "on side"); white wire to ignition system and accessories; red wire to starter; black wire to ground, frame or roll cage (I hooked to my roll cage). The problem I am have is when I turn my battery cut off switch on the green wire (power) and the black wire (ground) get super hot. I am by no means an electrician and would appreciate any help. Thanks.

Sounds like when the cut-off switch is turned off all power is going to green and black wires.
1) Maybe wiring is incorrect - double and triple check and maybe have some one else check it too.

2) You have a shorted circuit that only shows when the switch is off - not sure how this may have occured but I've seen stranger things over the years.

3) Faulty switch panel

The green wire should go to the side of the cut-off switch that has no voltage on it when the switch is turned off. Is this what you did?? I cannot quite work it outfrom what you wqrote.
