Hey, I'm sort of new to this forum and was wanting to know who everybody was. Heres a little about me. I'm 14 and entering my first year actually racing. I'm going to be racing ministocks at East Bay in Tampa,Fl. I work on my own car and get help when i need it. You will probably see me asking some questions that seem stupid but please be patient with me. I know a lot about cars for my age and have been enthusiastic about racing since I was about six years old. I am open to any advice anybody can give me.

Hey Popeye
I'm also from NY. Where do you race? We aren't racers, but we do go to various tracks in the area. It's neat to see some "local" on this site.

I'm from south east Iowa and have been a big racing fan every since I was little. My family used to run the local track here way back in the early 60's. Don't know if anybody knows of them but this is the track that some former nascar drivers got their start such as Ramo Stott and **** Hutcherson. After 53 years I decided to get out of the stands and get behind the wheel of a car myself. Just wish I had started sooner. I run a chevy monza 2.5 and am having a ball.
