A friend of mine totaled his 94 Ranger 4 cylinder(no insurance).
I was wondering if the motor could be used in a pony car do many tracks allow fuel inj. or could you put a carb. on it?
Thanks for any help you can give me.

you can put a carb on it by using a spacer on the manifold. Works well

In our stock class we must use stock hydrolic lifters. Many put a nickel and a dime under the lifter and use a solid lifter cam. Some take the lifter apart and make the lifter solid, but shim to set lash. What do you other guys do?
