Hey guys need your help wanting to put a little power in my motor.I'm real sluggish coming out of the turns, was told I need to go with a cam.Talked to LC Engineering the cam they suggest involves notching the pistons.I need to stay with in reach of prices that I can handle put get more power to keep up with.Any help would be great running a stock 22r in 82 Celica.

I had a little of the same problem that you are having and I adjusted my set up and drive a little higher on the track and keep my momentum so the car doesn't bog down coming out of 2&4 PLUS I am able to keep a higher speed going into the turns so that is where I am able to pass all of the bottom feeders!
Only race 6 races this year and won 2 and top 4 in the rest!
PM me if you what details of my setup.

your car is plenty fast with a few setup adjustments you could compete or buy a race ready ford much cheaper and faster out of the box even 43 wolfman won a heat race this year but schnieder cams is the way to go.

Now you have a race car that will work. Could it possibly be a wagon, they go fast and handle easy
