I was just wondering what most tracks are making mini stocks weigh. We went back to running them and the track we started at says they are going to make our 3 cars weigh 2500 lbs. We are running toyota's and dont think we can compete weighing over 200 lbs more than everybody.

No buck everybody else only has to weigh between 21 and 2350 depending on motor. Its just that the guys that race and run this track are stuck in the past and cant keep up. So instead of everybody working on their cars they cried about us and now we have to weigh a min. of 2500 after race with drivers. If they worked on their cars as much as they run their mouth they would be running with us if not outrunning us.

we are 2250 (MIN) w/ mud and dvr after race, top 5 cars go straight to the scales, if you swing by the pit's you get D-Q'd AND FALL BACK TO THE B FEATURE.

I run almost 300 pounds over weight, not by choice since I'm not the owner, and finished second in points at Blackrock Speedway, Dundee NY. The points champion was just barely over min weight. It's all about getting it to the ground and handling. 7 years 17 feature wins.

Thanks for the kind words about KP carbs.

NB Speedway in Virginia, have to weight #2550 with the driver. Have won 9 races this year with a Toyota. Had to weigh 2100 at the start of the year, we won 3 in a row and they made us go to 2350, won again that week, then we had to go to 2550 and are still winning at that weight.

well lemme tell u wut, our cars have to weigh a min of 2500lbs. i weighed my car 4 weeks ago and it was 2593, this weekend it was weighed (since i finished 2nd) and it was at 2884, it was the heaviest out there, so heavy cars can compete well, just depends on how well ur setup is
(p.s. im still trying to figure out how i gained so much weight)
