Still planning on building a mini stock(I think after building a purestock Im a pro, haha)My question is are most mini stocks built on uniabody frames....my understanding is the 'fox' type mustangs are unibodies, how about the pinto?Datsuns?Toyotas?

Even after reinforcing the unibodies, they seem to not last after a ggod hit

Unibodies are a different animal. I'm building a Honda Civic right now. After considerable time studying the car from under as well as above, I have decided to build the cage somewhat normal. Then it is attached to each suspension point.. When I'm through I expect I could cut out the original car because i now have a tube frame. The chassis will look like a spider web but it should be strong. SLEEPY
