Hey, You guys know that little nipple at the end of the spark plug where the wire snaps on? That thing screws onto the actual plug, and with three laps left in the main event, somehow that nipple unscrewed and I lost a cylinder, not bad since I still got 3rd place out of 8 cars. I sold the car after the races Friday, but if I didnt I would have gotten home and LOC-TITEd my spark plug nipples to the plugs so I dont have that problem again. Am I the only one ever to have this happening to him? Wouldnt want it to happen to any of you.

Does anyone know what the point is of having that "nipple" ***** on? Why don't they just manufacture the nipple as part of the plug. Is there a reason that I'm not aware of for having that part modular?

I sold the car because I got a baby on the way and have to add on to the ol' casa (house) I am still gonna be racing though, my friend is gonna let me drive his backup car for the rest of the season. Good luck everyone. And no I have no idea why that dang nipple is there, stupid nipples.

I can not remember what I saw it on but some type of motor you had to unscrew the nipple to use the spark plug. BObby

When using ***** on nipple style plugs do not loctite them on!This can and most times will cause a bad connection.Simply ***** off the nipple flatten it slightly w pliers. This will make it grip and lock to the threads.Snug it down with pliers and they will stay put!
