Are you running a racing fuel cell ? If so check the fuel pickup hose on the inside of the cell mine did that once and the hose was floating on top of the fuel. Also check float level and fuel pressure....towman

Is there anything else you can think of to tell me Im kinda lost with what weve got to go on.You say you have to let the clutch back out to restart it. Do you have the clutch in when cornering???? Or is that just the way you worded that .Just trying to help....towman

pushing in the clutch should have nothing to do with refiring the engine.the engine is still turning at rpm at the end of the straight, plenty enough to fire back up.sounds like you may have an ignition or timing problem.however replace your power valve it may be leeking, and make sure the jets are tight in the metering block.if you set the float level with the engine running where it just will slosh out when you nudge the car then it should be right.sounds like you may not be getting good coil saturation, try replacing the coil.and it may be an oversight but i have done it before, make sure cam is not off a tooth to the advanced side.hope this helps.
