Has anyone run a ram coupler clutch? What is your opinion? I am considering buying one.

We bought a ram coupler and ran it on dirt track for one test and tune. We immediatly sold it and went for the goldstar ultralite custom. Flywheel, pressure plate, throw out bearing and clutch disk all weigh 12 lbs! The ram coupler is harsh on drive components. It is also an initial engagement clutch which means most of the time the car will still move with the clutch depressed in gear. It gives you just enough to switch gears. Works good with bert and brinn trannies in I-4 mods though. The drawback to the goldstar is its just shy of 1000 clams.
