how much can be gain by running a holly carb vs say a stock one, and is it worth spending the money to get one.

I would say it depends what your over all package is what size of track you are running etc. By my uneducated guess most definietly but I would go to parkercarburation and e mail him he is the geru of carbs. Bobby

let me tell u somethign i ran a stock carb on a 2.3 and didn't do **** then i swithed over to a holly 350 and dam its a world of a diff u get better take off coming out of the turns with a 350 but 500s are better on the straight but i would go with a holly for sure its worth ur money

I would really talk to Earl Parker. I will tell you some of the stuff he has told me and others. 3/8 and smaller track 350 1/4 not very modified the weber 32/36 or what ever it was. I really would talk with him he is a very nice guy and you really need to look at your whole set up and he can help you with that.

also is it a noticeable difference bewteen the two, and would it work better on a carb or efi intake?

I dont know why you would even think of running anything but a holley. I have a holley 500 on mine.And i wish i could have more.I also have a 1 inch spacer to.if you have the money go for the holley
