Will limited slip rear ends work on dirt? Haven't tried one yet just wanted to know if anyone else has and how they worked.

Our track will not let us use limeted slip rears but they will let us weld them. I know it does not make any sense, but that is the rules.

I ran one for 1/2 a season, scared the **** out of me. During a race in July the right axle came out of the rear end. Was lucky though, happened on a red flag lap. The coss pin in the unit sheared off, probably from the play in the unit getting slamned around every time I slid into the corner.
