Would there be any big advantage to running an MSD with a four cylinder?

throw your money your gonna spend on the distrib. in going faster . safer,or what ever and get a tfi lot better,simple,cheap

you would be surprised at what a MSD box can do for a 4cyl. we let the modified class at our track run them and they seem to do good

Thanks I didn't want to go and waste $165.00 on something that isn't worth it.

Bucksight,what all do I need to switch to the tfi ignition? our car currently has the duraspark system. Thanks JPR

take the old one out put the new one in just that simple just use three wires

bottom= ground

next one up =tach.side of coil

3rd one -12 volt power
thats it

I can run much faster with much more RPM to get out of the corner. instead of the stock 6500 RPM revlimmiter I can run 8800+ in a ford probe, CRAZZZY!!!

Well I run an HEI ignition it hasn't given me any problems I just reall think from what I have heard an msd is just a really good investment for any racecar...
