What are your recomendations for '79 to '86 Mustang struts, and the best place to get them?

I appreciate your suggestions, but these are for a modified four division car on a fast half mile. Anyone know of a racing type strut?

The only one's I ever found were for drag racing. There was a place I found in California that said they would work with me but expensive. If your track will allow it, you get a cheap strut drill a couple of holes 1/8" in the bottom and drain the fluid out. Then put a racing shock on. I welded a bracket on the a-arm and one on the front hoop of my roll bar. Worked great. I know the top 3 guys every night did the same thing. It can get a little too tight on a slick track but you just have to try different valving or play with the springs.

I would get a set of Bilstein struts. They sell them for the 79-93 mustangs for circle track racing. I run Bilsteins on my Mod and I wont run anything but Bilstein's!!
