Any of you out there run the Holley 350 carb on the 2300 engine? I read in a post that a 350 is better with the 2300 than the Holley 500. Any help would be nice.

I used to run a 500 that worked over but just recently tried a 350 and will never go back much more jump off the corners. Just my 2 cents.

The 500 is way to big for a 2300, the engine cannot pull an adiquate amount of air through the carborator to make it work right. the 350 on the other hand works much better in the car has more power in the straights and in the corners than the 500.

HEY WHAT'S UP MAN I RUN A 355 HOLLY ---YA 355 NOT 350-- THEY WERE AMAZED AT THE CARB SHOP TOO, SAID IT WAS AN OLDER RARE TO SEE MODEL--ANYONE HAVE ONE?? I KNOW I SHOULD NOT BE GIVING MUCH ADVICE WITH THE LUCK I HAVE HAD LATLEY-- BUT I'LL TELL YOU WHAT I DID TO MY CARB LAST NIGHT. I PUT A 45 POWER VALVE IN IT (HAD A 25) AND PUT 65 JETS IN IT (HAD 55's). TOOK IT OUT ON MY 1/8 MILE TRACK IN THE BACK YARD AND I HAD WAY.......... MORE POWER, FOR THE FIRST TIME I HAD TOO MUCH POWER TO EVEN GIVE IT HALF THE PEDAL OUT THERE --IT WOULD JUST SPIN INTO A LOOP. WE WILL SEE WHAT HAPPENS TONIGHT AT THE RACE...GOOD LUCK TO ALL.
