How hard can you turn a rock stock 2.3 ford. The motor is rebuilt but doesn't have good rod bolts, or isn't balanced.

depends on how big a set of "lug" nuts you got and how many motors you want to go through. i wouldnt go over 6500 and thats pushin it for my tastes.

I agree. With stock rod bolts and valve train, I wouldn't go much higher that 6500-6800.

7500 plus for 2 years on one rebuild. Just have to keep up with the maintainance and watch the oil filter for signs of problems.

7500 is a little steep no more than 7000. but you still need to do alot of maint.
