I've heard of people getting away with milling the head as much as .170, How is this? One of mine was cut to .115, because we were getting kinda close to the intake bolt holes. What should I do with the crankcase breather? Blowing oil out of the top isn't going to win any races.....
Thanks, -Tyrell

In order to mill the heads more you must install studs for the intake. Install them with a good locktight and then have the head milled. It will mill into the studs making one side flat. Once bolted on the engine they connot turn. Just use caution when torquing.

I installed and catch for the oil coming out of the breather tube. I've heard of others running a line to a 45 degree nipple in the exhaust to create a crankcase vacuum. Never had the chance to try that before the old pinto went to racecar heaven.

I have milled them close to .190. Like MiPinto says you just mill up to the intake bolts and you can machine one side of them flat. Just remember your valve timing will need to be corrected. And dont slip a belt. YOu can vent the blow by to a catch or the exhaust siphon works well. Just don't plug up the cranks case holes.
