I would like to help, but most manufacturers make a 2.0. What brand and what car are you running.

Good luck...Chuck

It depends on what your rules allow... First off, if you not running in a class which requires a certain weight per cc, I would get a 2.3 and put my money in that. If your going to stick with the 2.0, you basically do the same things as the 2.3. Mill the head a bunch, Cam, Big valves, theres lots of different short block combinations, but if your running basically stock rules, I wouldn't get too wild there. Stock short blocks work fine. Simple things like making sure your fuel delivery system is set up right (especially carb, fuel pressure, etc.), will give you better performance for little money. Also, if your strong enough to run with everyone else, working on the chassis and setup would prob be cheaper and give you better results, than putting in a bigger motor and draging down the stretch. Just a thought.

The Pinto 2.0L is a lot better engine than a 2.3L. If you know what you are doing you can spank just about anybody, no matter if you have a weight rule or not. The biggest problem with the engines are just finding the stock stuff to start with. Since you've already got one, you're set!
